Scientists have been working on batteries for a long time to eliminate the problem of the need for daily charging. The problem of the rapid depletion of batteries, which is the trouble of all of us, will be left behind.
The battery type used by companies like Samsung, Huawei and Apple is produced from what we call lithium ion. This type of battery, although useful, still does not last a long time. Thanks to a new type of battery developed by scientists, the problem of running out of energy in a very short time is eliminated.
At the end of the long studies of scientists; a battery type that can operate a phone without charging it for 5 days, can take an electric vehicle for more than 1000 kilometers without charging. These batteries will be made of lithium sulfur material.
Under normal circumstances, it was known that any lithium sulfur battery could store at least 5 times more energy. However, no company has commercially offered this type of battery. The biggest issue with these batteries is cathode instability. The size of the cathode changed by 78% in each charge cycle and posed a significant problem.
The occurrence of such a problem led to the phase of the batteries and prevent their continuous use. Realizing this, scientists have succeeded in overcoming the cathode problem associated with lithium sulfur batteries. Now it is expected to be commercially available in the next 3 or 4 years.
